Ranging from 3-hour interactive workshops to comprehensive 8-week training programs, these offerings are designed for groups of 5 to 10 participants.
Some aspects of the curriculum are customizable in nature, so do not hesitate to reach out with a specific issue your organization is facing, and we can work together to build a training that will address your concerns.

Development

Communicating Effectively With Parents of the Children In Your Care
Communicating with parents about their children can be a very sensitive matter in the relationship between educators and parents. Together, we will examine the importance of having a respectful, harmonious relationship with parents and how, through effective communication skills, we can communicate sensitive matters to parents, and keep an open, honest, respectful relationship with them. We will look at key skills such as: Active listening, talking without using labels or judgements, and being compassionate and understanding. The quality of this relationship is key to the child's successful development in your care.
